Judith ''Judy'' Lyles Dixon
Judith ''Judy'' Lyles Dixon, 71, of Marietta, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2013.
Judy, a native of Roanoke Rapids, was the daughter of the late Curtis Elvin and Elsie Warrick Lyles, and was also preceded in death by her grandparents and many aunts and uncles.
Judy was a graduate of Hampton High School, Hampton, Va. She was a loving Mother and grandmother. She had a caring Christian heart. She loved sewing, genealogy, scrapbooking, watching her grandson play baseball, spending time with her granddaughter and attending women’s ministry Bible studies at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church, Marietta, Ga.
Judy is survived by her daughters, Robin Dixon of Marietta, Ga., and Terry Dixon Gibeau and her husband, Wayne, of Flowery Branch, Ga.; her grandchildren, Dylan Curtis Gibeau and Ashlyn Brooke Gibeau; her sister, Kaye Lyles Pruitt and her husband, Paul, of Carrollton, Va.; brother-cousin Greg Radcliffe and his wife, Elizabeth, of Germantown, TN.; her niece, Hillary Ketterman of Spokane, WA.; six great-nieces and a multitude of cousins, relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 17, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.
